As part of the 5 cities study, Jardin submitted a proposal to the government for a new civic space in the heart of Eket. This public space is to incorporate the existing war memorial (cenotaph)and act as a valuable municipal space for the enjoyment of all Eket’s residents and visitors. Based on the tremendous success of Jardin’s similar project in Ikot Ekpene we included interactive fountains, food kiosks, a large LED viewing screen and a fully equipped children’s play area in the proposal.
